original

At Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, we understand the significance of the Sacrament of Confirmation in the life of a Catholic. This sacrament strengthens your child’s faith and deepens his or her relationship with God and the Holy Spirit. It is a beautiful milestone in your child's spiritual journey. If your son or daughter is in Grade 6 or older and wants to be Confirmed, please contact Ferdinand by calling the parish office at (306) 653-4945. Please also complete the Confirmation Information Form and email it to fgemoh@rcdos.ca. Forms are also available at the parish office.

Note: Confirmation for school-age children for the past several years has been for Grade 2. However, as of July 2020, Confirmation is set for children in Grade 6 rather than Grade 2. Bishop Mark Hagemoen has stated in a letter to everyone in the diocese the following: "I hope that this shift will not only present new and ongoing opportunities for effective faith-formation of youth and their families in preparing for all of the Sacraments but may also be the opportunity to foster new initiatives and creativity regarding ongoing faith-formation and youth activities for the young people and their families of the parishes of our diocese".
