Our Lady of Guadalupe is searching for a Parish Life Director (PLD) to work in collaboration with the parish pastor or designate to provide leadership for the full scope of parish life. The PLD, reporting to the parish pastor or designate, is responsible for the administration of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish with regard to operations, pastoral programming and ministry, finances, staffing and strategic planning.
Interacting daily with the Pastor and serving to implement the purpose and vision of the parish, this position is responsible for the day-to-day management of all parish matters. As the Pastor’s designee, this position supervises and manages parish staff in order to implement the purpose and vision of the parish in a consistent, methodical and collaborative manner.
The Director has responsibility for cultivating an encompassing culture where parishioners freely and gratefully give of their time, talent, and treasure in thanksgiving for the blessings bestowed upon them by God.
Due to the nature of the employment, an indigenous background and a firm understanding of the indigenous history, cultures, and spirituality is considered an asset.
